We celebrate the potential in all young people, aiming to teach, empower and release them into their incredible futures. The youth work is split into a variety of groups.

We have two full time youth workers who lead a large voluntary youth team that works together with young people.

Andy King (Youth Pastor) is responsible for leading our Roc and Miff groups in various settings throughout the week. Martin Woodruff (Community Outreach Worker) is responsible for engaging the youth of the local community through the Pineapple Youth Project and in local schools.

Pineapple Youth Project

In partnership with Church of The Ascension, Pineapple Youth Project is a weekly youth club based in the Pineapple area in Stirchley. Led by Martin Woodruff (Community Outreach Worker), twice a week they play “PINEAPPLE RULES” football in the park and run a weekly youth club called “The Youth Zone”. The aim is to see children and young people’s lives enriched, boost their confidence, empower them by providing a place to meet in a safe and positive environment, and give them opportunities to explore the Christian faith.

Youth Zone meets every Friday during school term time, 5:30pm - 7:00pm
