Alpha
Alpha is an opportunity to explore the big questions of life and the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. We intentionally create a relaxed and low-pressured atmosphere so no question is ‘off the table’ and everyone is welcome. Alpha has been running all over the world for the last couple of decades in churches, pubs, prisons & homes where nearly 30 million people have taken part and loved the experience.
What to expect
Alpha runs 11 weeks with one session a week. Each session there will be a chat and welcome time together followed by a short film on various topics. After you’ve watched, you’ll join others to engage in an open, honest discussion.

Week 2 – Who is Jesus?
Week 3 – Why did Jesus die?
Week 4 – How can I have faith?
Week 5 – Why and how should I pray?
Week 6 – Why and how should I read the Bible?
Week 7 – Who is the Holy Spirit?
Week 8 – What does the Holy Spirit do?
Week 9 – How can I be filled with the Holy Spirit?
Week 10 – How can I resist evil?
Week 11 – What about the Church?
