New Teaching Series: Letting The Light In

New Teaching Series: Letting The Light In
Sunday 10 March – Sunday 24 March

At Easter, we remember the pinnacle moment in history. The landmark events at the cross shifted everything. Jesus shattered death, overcame evil and dealt with our sin. But, we don’t tend to think as much about how the events running up to that first Easter can help us today. When we go through some darker moments in life, the cross gives real, dazzling light. Join us for this 3-part series, to let the light of that first Easter into our darkness today.

Pray4BRUM - Ramadan 24-7 Prayer

Ramadan provides a great opportunity for us as a church to be aware of what at least 30% of our city will be doing for a month, and to pray for our Muslim neighbours, for them to ultimately encounter Jesus, as they pray fervently for forgiveness during this significant time for them.

SUN 3 MAR - GIFT SUNDAY

Sunday 3 March | GIFT SUNDAY
As we practice generosity in blessing one another, our community and city as well as giving back to God, you might have noticed that in the last year Riverside leadership has been working on providing means to allow us to exercise generosity. We had giving November a few months ago which was one of those ways.

Next Sunday (3 March) is GIFT Sunday. This is a practice many churches do, which is an offering made as thanksgiving to God. It is a one off gift above our general giving to honour God and bless Him. We invite you to plan ahead, and think “How much would I like to give for this gift Sunday”? There will be envelopes provided if you would like one as we invite you all to come prepared with cash if you can, however our giving station will be available. This is a great opportunity for us as a church family to bless and worship God together.
