Evening Services

On Sunday 23 April, we will be having evening service at Riverside House.

# Why are we doing this?
Our intention is that these evening services will provide space for more people to gather and attend in-person, to encounter Jesus and form community.

# What will they look like?
The evening services will look and feel very similar to our morning services. However, the room layout will provide a more open relaxed space to be together for worship and fellowship. Jus like our 11.30am services, our evening services will not be livestreamed and there wont be any additional groups for kids or youth.

# When?
These will be every Sunday apart from the first Sunday of the month. The pattern therefore will be:

– 1st Sunday – Tally Ho Gathering in the morning (9.30am) & Prayer & Worship Gathering at Riverside House in the evening (8pm).

– All other Sundays in the month: Gatherings in the morning (9:30am and 11:30am) and evening (6.30pm); both at Riverside House.

Note: Prayer & Worship Gatherings will therefore be changing to the first Sunday of the month starting on Sunday 4 June. There won’t be a Prayer & Worship Gathering in April and May. In May we will pray and worship together at The BIG Riverside Weekend Away.

What is Ramadan?
Ramadan is one of the five requirements (or pillars) of Islam. During each of its 30 days, Muslims are obligated to fast from dawn until sunset. During this time they are supposed to abstain from food, drinking liquids, smoking, and sexual relations. Ramadan begins on 23 March and ends on 22 April.

Stay & Play Needs You

Watch Video

There is a real risk that we will soon need to close one of our Stay & Play sessions on either a Monday or Tuesday (10am-11:30am) because we do not have enough volunteers.

If you can spare some time on a Monday or Tuesday morning please do register your interest. Someone will then contact you to discuss further.

Whether it’s making toast, tea and coffee, chatting to parents and children,  setup and putting toys away, reading a story, … there are so many opportunities for people to help.

Sun 26 Mar | Prayer & Worship Gathering

Prayer is the engine room for the church. As we pray we are choosing to trust God and step forwards in faith for what he has called us to.

We would love for at least one person from each household to join our monthly Prayer & Worship Gatherings on Sunday 26 March (8pm to 9.30pm).

For further details please visit the event page.

UPDATE:
Prayer & Worship Gatherings will be changing to the first Sunday of the month starting on Sunday 4 June. There won’t be a Prayer & Worship Gathering in April and May. In May we will pray and worship together at The BIG Riverside Weekend Away.

These changes are being made because starting Sunday 23 April, we will be having evening services at Riverside House (exluding the first Sunday of the month).
