Scams are never pleasant experiences, but sometimes they come with unexpected theological depth! In this talk, Damilola leads us to consider what the experience of Daniel and his friends in Babylon speaks to us as Christians in the west today. We are encouraged to hold fast to our treasure in Jesus – not just for our sakes but for the sake of the world.

2 | Do you believe ‘exile’ is a fair description of what it is to be a Christian in Birmingham today?

5 | How have you stepped out in courage because of your faith in Jesus recently?

6 | What changes do you believe the Lord is inviting you to make to your life through this talk?

As you work thorugh these questions pray for one another to deepen and develop your relationship with Jesus in this year ahead.
