If you are new and want to connect with us please email or let us know in the online chat alongside the live stream on Sundays.

Groups & Zoom

Although we may need to be physically apart during these times, we want to encourage as much support and mutual encouragement together. As such, we are encouraging our Life groups and Community groups to be really creative in how they support each other, and reach out in love to each other and those in our neighbourhoods.

You can connect via ZOOM video/audio calls

Free Zoom method

  1. Invite group members to download the Zoom app (details of how to download the app and use it can be found below).
  2. Agree with everyone what time the group will be.
  3. You can either send out a meeting link a few days before to each small group or the host can invite each member of their group live, at the time of the call.
  4. Finally, hosts should launch their small group Zoom call slightly earlier than the agreed time so that they can prepare (ensure their mic and video is working, get comfy etc) and are ready for when others join the call or need to be invited

How to use the Zoom app

Download the Zoom app via the app store or visit

  • Create an account using your email address
  • Click the orange tab 'New Meeting' and then click 'Start New Meeting'
  • Click 'Participants' and add your group using their contact number to the chat.

Helpful videos of how to use Zoom can also be found through Zoom's YouTube channel.

If you are not currently connected to a group and would like to be connected for communication and support, please contact someone from your site leadership team or pastoral staff at Riverside House.

Do be thinking & praying about how your group can make an appropriate difference in the community at this time. How can you be a blessing at this time?
