UPDATE: 18 March 2022: Riverside News
From 27 March you will no longer need to book tickets online before attending our Sunday Gatherings in-person. However, please know that due to the limited space at Riverside House we may need to reintroduce the need to book tickets online if we have issues with capacity. If you attend our Sunday Gatherings at Riverside House without children, can we please ask that you attend the 11:30am service. This will give parents and guardians more opportunities to attend the 10am service when we provide children’s and youth provisions.

# Riverside House – Please arrive via the REAR entrance of Riverside House (via the side car cark off Augusta Road). Please do not try to enter via the front door.

# Riverside House – We are unfortunately still unable to offer refreshments.

GROUPS: MEETING TOGETHER IN-PERSON

In addiiton to the Covid-19 safety infomration above:

Many of us are enjoying the freedom of being able to meet in-person with our Life Group and/or Community Group (or in another group setting) more regularly and  in larger numbers. However, whenever you meet with others at Riverside please do continue to follow our Covid-19 Safety Information (See above).

NOT PART OF A GROUP?
If you are not currently part of a group and would like to be connected for communication and support, please contact us and someone from our pastoral staff at Riverside House will be in touch as soon as possible. We would love to hear from you.

GROUPS: MEETING TOGETHER ONLINE

Many of us are now gathering together in our groups more frequently in-person, and in larger numbers. However, we know that being physically apart and therefore needing to meet online is still needed or preferred by some people.

Indeed, meeting both in-person and online will remain part of our ongoing vision.

We therefore continuing to encourage our Life Groups and Community Groups to be really creative in how they support and reach out in love to each other and those in our neighbourhoods both in-person and online.

MEETING TOGETHER VIA ZOOM:
There are many video calling applications available but in addition to WhatsApp a commonly used application across our groups at Riverside is ‘Zoom’.

Free Zoom method:

  1. Invite group members to download the Zoom app (details of how to download the app and use it can be found below).
  2. Agree with everyone what time the group will be.
  3. You can either send out a meeting link a few days before to each small group or the host can invite each member of their group live, at the time of the call.
  4. Finally, hosts should launch their small group Zoom call slightly earlier than the agreed time so that they can prepare (ensure their mic and video is working, get comfy etc) and are ready for when others join the call or need to be invited

How to use the Zoom app:

Download the Zoom app via the app store or visit https://zoom.us/

  • Create an account using your email address
  • Click the orange tab ‘New Meeting’ and then click ‘Start New Meeting’
  • Click ‘Participants’ and add your group using their contact number to the chat.

Helpful videos of how to use Zoom can also be found through Zoom’s YouTube channel.
